Show Choir Tour

This is the group that Brittany and I hung out with for the week end. We were on the Pueblo Middle School Show Choir Tour to California. Yep, we went to Disneyland for 3 days. It started on Thursday at 5:30 am, we got on the bus and headed to Disney. We got there at 1 pm and Brittany was in a back stage class at 2pm in Toon Town. My friend Staci Dayes (the other Chaperone) and I went on some rides while they were in class. Our first stop was Space Mountain. When the ride was about over...it came to a stop, Staci thought that it was over...but soon the lights came on and a worker came over to check on us. We were laughing and taken' pictures. Staci even called her sister in Az to tell her all about it.

After that we rode on all the other big one's before we got the girls.
The next two days is a blur, Saturday was when they sang in front of judges and they sang great. What a group of singer. I was so glad to be there. They ended up winning the whole thing for their age group.I love you Brittany. Thanks for hangin' out with me...even when I was silly.

More Singing...

Rachel had a concert on December 18th. "A Christmas Celebration" presented by the Chandler Children's Choir. It was held at the Camelback Seventh-day Adventist Church, which was a beautiful venue for any choir to sing at. The Chandler Children's Choir all did a great job with Aimee Stewart as Director. Rachel had Grandma and Grandpa Geier there along with the whole family. She looked just like an angel with her long blond hair and white dress with her sweet singing voice. Rachel got to sing with a small group for the song "Sleep, Little Jesus".


The choir sang a total of 17 different songs, with an Intermission and everything. They had the audience sing three carols at the end of the concert. While the audience sang, the choir sang Descants that were "Commissioned" just for the CCC's first concert. It was a beautiful way to end the concert. It was so wonderful.

Sing, Sing, Sing...

Brittany sings My Favorite Things. The "Pueblo Show Choir" sang three songs. The Long and Winding Road, Angles Amoung Us and Favorite Things.
This song was "Requiem". All the CDS choirs sang together. It was quite amazing.

Brandon sings with A Cappella and Jaztecs. The Tux is A Cappella and the Black Suit is Jaztecs.They sang a total of 8 songs. Chili Con Carne was one of our Fav's. But Twa Tanbou was awesome! Way to go Brandon.
